Popular TV cooking duo The Hairy Bikers have introduced their own variety of crisps to celebrate the summer BBQ season.
The pair have teamed up with Tyrrells Hand-Cooked English Crisps to launch limited-edition Biker Burger Crisps (150g, RRP £2.29) that will be hitting the shelves exclusively in all Co-op stores this August.
Bursting with flavour and made with the finest Hereford potatoes, the snack is the perfect accompaniment to summer BBQs and picnics. It includes the perfect burger flavour of mouth-watering smoky, succulent beef, with hints of Chipotle chilli and pickled gherkins.
Hairy Bikers Dave Myers and Si King said: “The launch of the new Tyrrells Biker Burger crisps is incredibly exciting for us and we loved getting involved with the flavour creation – you can really taste each element of the burger coming through.
“Also, having our faces on the crisps packets sold in our local Co-Op is by far the coolest thing we’ve ever done! We hope customers enjoy the new flavour which provides a delicious burger taste to enjoy on the go, but without all the mess that comes with it.”
Sarah Lawson, marketing manager at Tyrrells, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be launching an exciting new flavour in partnership with flavour connoisseurs the Hairy Bikers.
“We have always wanted to work with English chefs who understand great tasting food but also have a lot of fun and don’t take themselves too seriously – just like Tyrrells. That’s why for us this is a perfect partnership.”
