Rock and heavy metal fans, take note of this.
Organisers of the annual Download Festival have confirmed the next 20 acts which will be taking to the stage over the three-day event.
A Day to Remember and Volbeat are among the groups participating, and they will be hoping to bring their music to fans who are planning to attend.

Download Festival 2022 line-up: Which acts have been added?
Twenty acts have been added to the line-up for next year’s event, and we’ll tell you who they are and on which day they are performing.
Friday’s additions include A Day to Remember, Black Veil Blades, Bury Tomorrow, Gender Roles, Meet Me at the Altar, Myles Kennedy and Normandie.
On Saturday, you can now expect to hear from Cassyette, Code Orange, Creeper, Death Blooms, Dragged Under, Ice Nine Kills, Malevolence, Mastodon, Obituary and Shinedown.
Sunday’s added acts are Baroness, Thick and Volbeat, and Myles Kennedy will also do another performance on this day.
Download Festival 2022: When is the event due to take place?
Download Festival 2022 is due to take place on the weekend of Friday, June 10, 2022 until Sunday, June 12, 2022.
Biffy Clyro, Iron Maiden and Kiss are the headline acts for Download Festival 2022 and will each perform on one of the three days.
Friday, June 10
You can expect to see the following performers on the first day, with Kiss headlining.
The acts on Friday are: A Day to Remember, Black Veil Brides, Bury Tomorrow, Theory, Wayward Sons, The Distillers, Airbourne, Lacuna Coil, Myles Kennedy, Ayron Jones, The Ghost Inside, Sleep Token, Normandie, Meet Me at the Altar, Gender Roles, Press Club, Electric Wizard, Blues Pills, British Lion, Bokassa, A. A. Williams, Dead Poet Society, Cellar Door, Moon Crow, The Scratch, Tempt and JJ Wilde.
Saturday, June 11
On Saturday, Iron Maiden will headline the festival, with a number of acts confirmed to be performing.
These are: Deftones, Shinedown, The Pretty Reckless, Black Label Society, Monster Truck, Those Damn Crows, The Raven Age, Megadeth, Mastodon, Daughtry, Bush, Code Orange, Ice Nine Kills, Malevolence, Casyette, Funeral for a Friend, Creeper, The Faim, Grandson, Holding Absence, Loathe, Dragged Under, Salem, Blackout Problems, Sepultura, Obituary, Dying Fetus, Bleed from Within, Venom Prison, Higher Power, Joyous Wolf, Dead Label, Death Blooms, Temples on Mars.

Download Festival 2022: How do I get tickets?
Tickets for Download Festival 2022 can be purchased from the event’s website . There are options for camping and for those who do not wish to camp.
Organisers are also selling RIP Package tickets which come with added extras such as access to a shower and firepit.
